This policy explains how Once Upon You handles your personal information and photos. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to make your story, we store it securely, and we delete it as soon as we no longer need it.
We collect the hero's name, the story idea, any photos you upload, your chosen language, and your email address if you purchase the full e-storybook or order a print copy. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
Photos are stored privately in secure cloud storage. They are used only to generate the illustrations for your story. They are deleted when you close your session or after a short processing window. Want a photo removed sooner? Email us at info@onceuponu.com.
Your photos and stories are never used to train any external or internal model. They are used only to produce your specific e-storybook.
We use basic analytics and marketing pixels to understand how people use the site and to improve our service. These tools do not identify you personally beyond what you choose to share.
We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers needed to run the site (hosting, payment, email delivery, analytics), and only to the extent required for their services.
Uploaded photos and generated stories are kept only as long as your session is active. Purchase records and email receipts are kept for accounting and tax purposes. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@onceuponu.com.
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Because most data is session-based and deleted automatically, the easiest way to remove something is to close your session or email us.
